On 9 May 2018 the Government announced its intention to introduce a new Consumer Data Right (CDR) law in Australia. Put simply, the Consumer Data Right puts control of your data in your hands.
In Australia, ‘Open Banking’ is the banking sector’s implementation of the CDR.
Consumer Data Right (CDR) PolicyAsgard is part of the Westpac Group. The Westpac Group CDR Policy provides information about how Asgard manages data under the Consumer Data Right.
Asgard Open Banking Product API
The Asgard Open Banking Product API (Application Programming Interface) enables third parties to retrieve information about products that Asgard currently offers. It is designed and documented to support the Australian Consumer Data Standards.Our Product API includes products for both retail and business customers such as:
- Transaction Accounts
- Savings Accounts
- Term Deposits
- Credit Cards
Data for additional products will be progressively added to the API in line with the timeframes specified by the Consumer Data Right rules.
